Britney Spears' Headpiece

Ok, so here's the deal. I really wanted Britney to make a comeback. Not in the musical sense, but more in the image department. When she dumped Kevin and appeared on Letterman, she was primed for it. Looked great, seemed happy and ready to step back into the limelight. She never really went anywhere, but over the last year or so, she continued to tarnish her image with all the tabloid stuff. If the average person were to play word association with her, you'd have heard "white trash", "Cheetos", "cigarettes" and "bad mom". Today, just literally weeks after the divorce announcement, you'd hear "train wreck", "nervous breakdown", "rock bottom" and "total mess". Her face, hair and weight have all fluctuated over the last month or so. Pictures of her girl parts were all over the Internet. People are wondering if she has had plastic surgery. She seems to be begging for an intervention or severe makeover. This brings me to the point of this post. With her recent head shaving, I'd say she has just about done everything short of a suicide attempt for attention. I don't know the reason for it. Heck, she might not even know it. I think it is gonna be a long time, if ever, that someone takes her seriously. She needs to literally disappear for months, grow the hair out, and start acting like a mom. She is more than welcome to grow into a fine MILF if she wants. She might not want to make music or movies anymore. Ok, maybe a CD a year or more down the road might not be the worst thing. She should drop the pop image if she can. Move into the realm of an actual artist if she has any real talent.

Ok, let's talk about the hair, or lack thereof. How do I think it looks? At first glance, hideous. I don't know if it would have come across differently even if we knew in advance that she was doing it for a movie role like Natalie Portman. Time will tell if it looks better even in publicity shots. We'll see I'm sure. She might look good if she toned up, quit smoking, and started acting responsible. The idea of a short, curly haired Spears does not turn me off. Everyone knows she wears weaves, wigs and/or extensions. This is a perfect opportunity to grow it out for real and have a style. Keep it one color and start growing it. Oh yeah when she does make her comeback, I wanna see Playboy. Not gonna lie, I've been pining for it since her debut. If I am gonna see her lady bits, at least let them be airbrushed and color corrected.

5 Words to Sum it Up: Shame. Only up from here.
